Bathing your dog in the winter is no fun. It is harder and you do want to make sure your pooch is dry before going outside so he/she will not get sick. I like to use an Oatmeal based Dog Shampoo in the winter to help with the dry itchy skin. If you do have a grooming location around your area, I would try it. It might save you from having a back that hurts after bathing.

I am often amused with how our home interiors are a reflection of the cultural shift of our country. The present economic and political state of our nation demand something much more honest, natural and understated than the dishonest hype around us. We do want genuine materials in their natural color and texture. Gone are the hi gloss surfaces, jewel tone colors and heavy moldings. Bring in subtle warm grays, clean lines, elevated function furniture. I think the Tea Party would approve.
